Start with daily rewards, then pick a repeatable farm you can run with your account. Silverwastes events, gathering routes, and fishing offer different ways to earn gold. The right routine depends on your unlocked content, available time, and what you want to sell.
Where to Start Farming Gold
Choose one daily activity and one repeatable farm. Learn the route, track what you earn, and include time spent sorting and selling loot when you compare results.
1. Wizard's Vault Objectives
With a level 80 character, check your daily and weekly objectives before choosing activities. Complete objectives to earn Astral Acclaim, then compare the current rewards against what your account needs. 2. Daily Fractals
If you enjoy group PvE, make the daily fractal rotation part of your routine. Choose a tier you can complete reliably with your group and meet its equipment requirements before moving up. Daily achievement rewards are separate from simply repeating a fractal. Check the current daily rotation and reward chests.
3. Silverwastes Event Runs

4. Gathering Routes
Pick a route for ore, wood, or plants and check the materials' current sell prices. Record a full run, including travel and selling time. Subtract Trading Post fees and gathering costs to see what you actually keep. Use the [fast] gathering-node data to compare options before committing to a long route.
5. Fishing
Fishing requires End of Dragons. Choose a fishing area, bring suitable bait and lures, and track the value of your catches against supplies and travel time. Learn the fishing mechanics and requirements before investing in a dedicated setup.
Build a Routine You Can Repeat
For short sessions, check your Vault objectives and finish the ones that fit your plans. For a longer session, add a fractal group, a Silverwastes run, or a gathering or fishing route. Stick with one repeatable farm long enough to measure your own results.
Compare net gold over the entire session. A route can look profitable while most of its value is still sitting in your material storage. Decide what to sell and what to keep, then count fees, supplies, travel, and inventory management. Market prices and group pace change, so recheck your results when choosing between farms.
